In a small hidden house, with
floors of dirt, in the city of Galilee, there was a meeting of the
family. The head of the household, was a builder of buildings, and a
prophet. The head of the family spoke, in Hebrew:
“A new nation will be born, a
nation far away from here. It will be greater than all nations. It will
control many nations. There will be a leader of this nation, who will
serve in the secret government. He will than become the assistant
to the head of this nation, and ultimately, will become, the head of the
nation.
Upon his exit from power, due to a
conspiracy carried out by a select few, and voted upon by many, a
spiritual war in all four corners of the world, will become known. It is
the outcome of this spiritual war, which will bring about a change.
Until that time, this family will
remain silent. There will be no links broken. Family will marry family.
The link shall not be broken, unless ye experience the sword.”
These words were passed down to
each generation of the family for over 2000 years. Hagar, knew the
words well, yet she could not stop what was happening in her life. She
fully understood the old saying of “The heart wants, what the heart,
wants.”
Her parents had come to America for
a better life. Her father, like all the men in the family before him,
for over 2000 years, were Masons. They were builders of buildings,
temples, cathedrals, museums, and other world landmarks throughout
history.
Hagar understood completely, the
family secrets and rules. She also understood, that the man, she was now
in love with, would never be accepted by her family.
Hagar’s heart was torn. Her final
grades, in the law school had suffered due to her inability to
concentrate, yet she had managed to pass her final exams.
Hagar, wasn't sure what to do.
It was like, Jason, the man she was in love with, had stolen a part of
her heart, and she felt extreme pressure to do the right thing.
She had made matters worst, by
giving of her body to a man whom could never be a part of her family. In
essence, she had destroyed the bond, between herself and her family when
she surrendered to the love in her heart.
Hagar remembers the first night she
and Jason made love. They had just finished their homework on a
Friday evening. They were doing their normal making out, when
things start to move much too quickly. She had allowed Jason to
enter her womb, as her long black hair had served as a mat, on the
floor of their small apartment. It seems like every blood cell in
her body had yearned for Jason and was not satisfied until they became
one.
The apartment, which was
overlooking the back entrance of one of American’s most prestigious
colleges had been Jason’s idea. They both were seeing other people when
they became roommates. Their strong friendship had turned into a
personal relationship and the intimacy was eminent.
Hagar, could not return home. Her
father would know. Her mother would look into her eyes, and see the
deceit, if she tried to lie.
That’s why on this day, she had
chosen, to go with Jason, the man of her dreams. She would go with him
to his family’s home. Jason's mother had taken the liberty to plan a
small discreet wedding.
Hagar and Jason, knew her family
would look for them once students, on campus, told what they knew.
Because of this factor, the time spent with Jason’s family would be
short. They would leave his family, as well, immediately after the
wedding.
She, nor Jason, would be at their
law school graduation. Their diplomas would be mailed to a P.O. Box. The
necessary test to practice law, would be taken later, when the search
for them had died down. Her parents would find out from Jason’s parents,
that she was alive and well, and for now, that was all she could ask
for.
Hagar, was not sure where she and
Jason would end up. All she knew for sure, was that Jason was a
trust fund baby whose father was the founder, of one of the largest law
firms in New York City. There was no need to worry about finances
as long as Jason returned to the family business within five years.
Hagar, felt sad, yet relieved, that
she had finally made a decision. How had this man, gotten so close to
her? It was never her intensions to betray her family. She had
maintained her friendship with him for the sole purpose of warding off
advances from other men on campus.
Hagar remembered what happened to
her first cousin, Aloki, who had married a man, which the family had not
approved of.
The family had gone into a silent
rage. Two weeks later, Aloki, was dead. She had been hit by a truck,
which ran a red light. Funny thing, the truck was stolen, and the man
was never caught. Seems, he was driving, with gloves on!
Hagar packed her things silently,
as she planned to leave behind her college days and the family she so
desperately loved. Most of all, she would miss her mother and her
sister, her father she would not miss so much. Her father, was a world
famous architect, who was rarely home. He more than anyone, would have
never allowed her marriage to Jason.
Her family has selected a young man
by the name of Amar, to be her husband. In the beginning, Hagar wondered
if she was running to Jason, because she was running from Amar?
Amar, was handsome and his family
was of great wealth, yet his spirit, processed, a darkness. Her
heart felt heavy when in his presence. She had no intensions, of ever,
becoming Amar's wife.
Hagar, sat down, on the side of the
bed in her small apartment as she looked out the window at the backside
of the prestigious college campus. She hoped she was doing the right
thing. She realized to betray her family and that, which the family
stood for, could mean certain death for her, yet her heart was in full
support of her decision, as was her future father in-law.
