The Trust Aspect

A Mature Love Story

Joe was making all the right moves as he attempted to make love to Laura.  Up and down, without emotion, yet in rhythm. Joe called it love making. Laura had gone dry, the walls of her ridged vagina were emotionally bleeding. She felt bruised and used, yet she allowed Joe to finish.

Joe rolled over, and pulled Laura close to him, as he caught his breath. Laura thought to herself, that she was involved in ‘meaningless s_ _.’ There was no emotion, there was no spiritual, or mental connection. There had only been the rhythm.

It had been a mistake to sleep with Joe so soon after meeting him. It had been a mistake she couldn’t take back. Having s _ _ with Joe, didn’t made her feel better about her break-up with Jeff. In fact, she felt worst.

Joe could tell Laura was not that in to him. He made every effort to make her happy, but he could tell it was no use.

Laura slowly got up and put on her clothes. She didn't feel like showering or combing her hair. All she wanted to do was get dressed and go home.

As Laura put on her clothes, she knew she would abstain from making love, until Joe was the right man, or the right man came alone. She refused to believe she was frigid, as her fiancée of 3 years had said.

It didn’t matter any more why Jeff had broken their engagement. Laura was done trying to prove that she was not frigid. It was clear in her mind, that hot love making wasn’t happening because, she simple, was not “in trust,” therefore, not in love, with either Jeff or Joe.

Joe had helped her realize what the real problem had been with Jeff. She had felt the same mistrust and discomfort with this new man, as she felt with her old boyfriend of 3 years. When her heart didn’t trust, the secretion from within the walls of her vagina was absent which caused physical pain, for her.

The minister at her mother’s church on the previous Sunday had been right, meaningless s _ _, drains you of vitality.

Laura didn’t trust herself to make the right decision about the men in her life. Her second thoughts canceled out her first thoughts. Her fears of future rejection, hadn’t allowed her to surrender to Jeff, and certainly not to Joe.

Laura finally spoke, “I’m sorry, Joe, I moved too fast, I still hurt because of my breakup, it’s not your fault.” Joe, said nothing.

Laura continued to talk, in an effort to save the friendship, Joe was a nice guy, not to mention, easy on the eyes. “Will you call me tomorrow?”

Joe, looked at her in surprise, and replied, “Ya, what time?” Laura rushed to the side of the bed and hugged him really hard, “The next time we do this, we’ll be in love.”

Joe, smiled. He really thought the hook up was for only a couple weeks at most. Yet, the idea of being in love was appealing. Here was a woman who wasn’t all over him. She was different, and he could tell.

Joe walked Laura to the door, as she slipped into the cold winter night. He knew she would be safe.

Once home, Laura took a shower and was satisfied with herself for the first time in a long time. She knew she and Joe would date, and it would be much longer than 2 weeks!
